Looking for drawings about 69 for yesterday's post I came across all kinds of sex tattoos that they not only bordered on bad taste, but wallowed in it like pigs in a pigsty; so a question came to mind: what is the difference between an erotic tattoo and a pornographic one?
The same difference as in any other artistic manifestation, since the tattoo is one of them: obscenity, vulgarity. There are tattoos that insinuate, that eroticize and show without showing; others, however, are sexual without grace, funny, grotesque and unpleasant.
I think we should be more respectful of others, but the truth is that everyone is free to tattoo what they want on their skin, even if it means making people uncomfortable; but, precisely for this reason, the other is free not to think the same as us, to label us and point the finger at us: if we want to freedom for us, we must allow others freedom. They tag us and we tag ourselves: it's that simple.
Something relatively common is to get an obscene drawing tattooed by fun, a funny joke, a green drawing, a sexual phrase. I love people with a sense of humor, I have already dedicated posts to funny tattoos before and if you follow me you will see that I have it very developed, but the point is that you have to be careful because what we find funny today does not have to seem funny tomorrow and one of the characteristics of jokes is that when you have heard them many times you are not amused.
In fact, in the Cover up show "Nightmares in your ink" many of the tattoos that people want to erase are the funny obscene who got tattooed on a drunken night with colleagues.
Erotic tattoo or obscene tattoo? You decide, but remember: a tattoo can mark you for a lifetime even if it is covered or removed with a laser: tattoo with head.
